Spokane Valley Washington is a suburb of Spokane located in Spokane County. The city was formed as a vote by the residents to have their own governing municipalities free from the city of Spokane. It is located about twenty minutes east of Spokane. Some would consider everything east of Spokane to be the valley, but this area also holds the cities of Millwood, Newman Lake, Liberty Lake, Otis Orchards, and the area of Greenacres. Spokane Valley is home to the Central Valley School District one of the top recognized public school systems in Spokane County. Spokane Valley offers great outdoor spaces, desirable neighborhoods, and more.

- Education: Spokane Valley is home to several of the most popular schools in Spokane County. People move here to be in the school district.
- Large Properties: Not all properties are large, but many homes in Spokane Valley offer ample square footage. Some of the most desirable homes are on large lots of land mostly in the south end.

- Local Business: Spokane Valley is home to several local businesses, many of them located along Sprague Avenue. Some local favorite restaurants include TT's Brewery and BBQ, Craft and Gather, Just American Desserts, Outlaw BBQ, and La Plaza de Mexico.
- Close to Spokane and Couer d'Alene: Spokane Valley is considered a center point between Spokane and Couer d'Alene Idaho. It is only 20 minutes to downtown Spokane from many areas of the valley and Couer d'Alene is just under 30 minutes without traffic. Spokane offers even more activities and job opportunities and Couer d'Alene is a popular spot to hang out at the large lake in the summer as well as experience more shopping and dining.
Spokane Valley Schools
The schools in Spokane Valley are one of the major drawing factors to relocating or moving to the suburb of Spokane Valley. The public schools are under the supervision of the Central Valley School District one of the highest-regarded school districts in the county. The headquarters of the district are located in Spokane Valley. There are more than 28 schools in the district including 3 high schools, two of which serve the valley, and Spokane Valley Tech a STEM school offering career path-centered learning. Spokane Valley Students also have the option to attend some great private school institutions. The Oaks Classical Christian Academy, Valley Christian School, and Grace Alliance School are located in Spokane Valley. Many private school students also travel to Spokane to attend Gonzaga Prep.
Neighborhoods and Homes in Spokane Valley
Spokane Valley is a fairly sizable city and made up of several smaller areas and those areas are made up of smaller neighborhoods and housing subdivisions. The main areas of Spokane Valley include the North Valley, Opportunity, Pines, Veradale, Greenacres, and the South Valley. Greenacres and the South Valley are increasingly popular they hold highly desirable neighborhoods that include Belle Terre, Midilome, Painted Hills, and many neighborhoods along Barker Road that some consider to be located in Liberty Lake but are officially part of the Greenacres area of the Valley.
Spokane Valley offers a very wide selection of property types.
